What I can't quite understand is the fact that he only allowed to use a fixed land-line from his own home in Wembley, yet he was able to phone his mother in Jordan.
BT must be getting quicker at providing a line to the homes of their customers, especially when they have just been released from jail.

well it aint a new build, i'm sure the council made sure that the telephone lines remained connected to the house whilst he was in the nick.
