I've voted for them in every election since I was old enough to vote - regardless of the fact that, on a personal level, I would probably have done better under Tory fiscal policies.
It's about fairness and looking after those who can't look after themselves ... and I don't trust any Tory government to do that.
I believe we should look after those that can't help themselves because I hope I'm a decent human being, not because of my political leanings. Helping those that WON'T help themselves is an entirely different thing.
agree on that (the last two replies) and that was what the Libs were supposed to do.....having said that tempering the Tories I think is working rather well - and the coalition is better than what Labour offered and continued to offer with Wallace and Gromit at their helm.
I don't like/trust any of our main parties but I dislike being ruled by the EU even more so I vote for the only party who stands up for the UK . UKIP
