How long will the police/judges and courts put up with this behavior?

How do we know that they do?
why should mcdonalds be surprised? this is the sort of clientele they seek to attract to their outlets.
mushroom, so it's macdonalds fault now? it's a fast food outlet, just like KFC, burger king etc. This thuggish behaviour shouldn't be tolerated, and i would like them to get the twits that did it and make them pay. Fined for one thing, that money goes to the victims in this, and then do a years worth of community service.
Presumably this happened only in the last few days so I would repeat what FredPuli has said by asking what makes you think the police (and then the CPS and courts) will do nothing about it.

Some of the images seem quite clear so I suggest you wait to see what action will be taken. If you recall lasy summer's riots you will remember that people were being arrested and brought to court some time after the events.
so nothing like the mods and rockers running riot in towns in the 60's and 70's then?
It really isn't BOO. The Mods and Rocker era was tame compared to what goes on nowadays. I remember it well (I was neither Mod nor Rocker).
Sure you aint looking through rose tinted glasses Lottie? ;-)

Swap the deck chairs for a McBurger- it doesn't look much different.
And the mods and rockers in the main kept all the fighting between themselves. They didn't rampage through the streets looting, etc.
Really? ;-)
BOO, no rose coloured glasses, honestly. I am not condoning Mod and Rocker behaviour at all. They fought each other on the beaches!!! Yes, they got carried away, but aggression to the general public was nothing compared to nowadays.
mushroom25, what a stupid pathetic comment to make!!!!
I agree with Lottie...it was between themselves & for some reason the trouble was often at seaside towns, you could hear them arranging to go to the coast, bank holidays were the worst. There were scuffles in the town where I lived which usually consisted of lots of mean staring... lol

erm, it was nowt to do with me :o)
Oh, Lottie, I imagined you as a Mod. Can just see you on a Lambretta, heading off to watch events at Clacton-on-Sea !
For all of you who weren't born then, the Mods (neat, short hair, scooters)and Rockers (leathers, long hair, motorbikes) occasionally turned up at resorts like Clacton to have a fight on the beaches. The press presented this as a great scandal involving extreme violence and destruction. In fact, it was comparatively modest in the context of 'gang warfare' and rioting as we see that now, sadly, but certainly shocking at the time.
Why is it that when the previous generation comment about their own generation, there HAS to be a reply involving that stupid phrase "rose tinted spectacles"....... same comment, same ABers and many of them not even born in that era?
Wrong behaviour is wrong behaviour regardless of any points of comparison with the past... at times like this the benefits of CCTv are clear... as there is a good chance some or all will be recognisedand charged.
Because sqad, i was trying to say that "no, the UK isn't going to the dogs" at least not in this instance.

Kids have always been nutters, what happened at McD's wasn't nice, especially for the staff members and other customers, but I genuinely don't see it as being any worse than what happened in the 60's.

So stick that in your pipe and smoke it! ;-)
Possibly the worse thing that these yobs should get is publicity and notoriety. The newspapers will cry that they are only reporting because the video has gone 'viral'. In reality that means tens of thousands might have watched it. After the national publicity afforded by these newspapers promoting the yobbery, the video will have been watched by millions.
And so we can now expect copycat yobs doing the same in other parts of the country..
The newspapers should not give these scrotes the publicity they crave.
All in all, they actually didnt do very much in McDonalds, they were more frightening and disruptive than anything, I dont suppose any charges will be brought.
