Watching the BBC's question Time last night it made me cringe to see the panel members kowtowing to Far-Left George Galloway, by congratulating him on his recent poll victory, and also stating that it was true democracy at work.

I wonder if a Far-Right politician had made a similar 'out of the blue' victory, they would have been so keen to congratulate him and at the same time praise democracy?

I’ve just watched last night’s Question Time, and I think the rest of the panel were just doing the courteous thing in congratulating him. I didn’t feel that was over the top. They were just paying lip service.

But what a detestable little man he is. His election leaflets, targeted specifically at the Muslim community and using their religion for his own ends, were, in my opinion, quite shameful. No need to ask why they voted for him.

Can’t stand Yvette Cooper either. Duplicitous doesn’t go far enough to describe her.
I didn't see the programme but I find him a detestable little man. Naomi said it all.
Galloway is a bad joke.................Yvette Cooper is frightening.

Steve, //What has Mr Galloway done that no other wanna be mp/pm has`nt. //

Look at the link I provided and replace 'Muslim' with 'Christian' - and then think about it.

He's a dangerous man.
just what i was thinking, there would have been an uproar had a prospective candidate targeted Christians specifically to get their message across, i reckon that he is the ugly face of political dodgy dealing, and lord knows there are enough in Parliament already without this arse.
Him and Ken Livingstone have to be the most self serving politicians i can think of, both brown nosing barstds.
Surely there must be a place for demagogues in the political arena. Ian Paisley based an entire career on it and now sits, ennobled, in the Lords.
By 'it' I mean demagoguery. ^

Has not Gorgeous George just taken a fourth bride - allegedly in a muslim wedding - as his third wife (mother of his 4 month old son) claims they are still married. Obnoxious unprincipled little runt - but articulate.
Steve, I'm not criticising the religion - I'm criticising the way this man has used it for his own purposes to bolster his own over-inflated ego. He’s doing nothing to encourage integration, nor to create harmony - but he is succeeding in encouraging further division - and he will continue to do so. If only those who put a cross by his name had thought to ask him why he hasn't converted to Islam!
Has he naomi or does he still profess to being a catholic?
He has had at least two muslim wives.
Brenden, I've no idea what religion he professes - if any - but I'm pretty sure he hasn't converted to Islam. If he had, I suspect he would have used it as yet another devious tool to jemmy his way to victory.
So true.
