He did.

He was baptised on 26th April, and most scholars have extrapolated from that that he was most likely born on 23rd.

On articles such as this, it can be a credible and useful resource.

It tends to be less reliable on details such as how often Pamela Anderson has sha$$ed 15 year old boys from Derby called Neil, though.

Read it, or don't read it........it doesn't matter to me.

St George is patron saint of many countries but we like him because of the legend ... The whole thing about defeating enemies far more powerful, courage and chivalry... the idea of George as the Noble knight... In the same way as the legend of king Arthur touches a chord.. its not who we are its how we'd like to be seen
