If she`s guilty then yes. It`s not always black and white though. A friend of mine bought a basketweave handbag in Bali and took it on to the second stop of her holiday which was Singapore. It was only when she got it home she found some seeds in the bottom which had presumably been there since she bought it. She had a mate who worked in a lab who tested them and they were dope seeds. Should she have been shot for that?
A few dope seeds are not quite the same as almost 5 kilos of Coke but I see your point.
Bit of a difference between a few unconcealed seeds and 4.8kg of Coke "hidden" in a suitcase.
Still a crime in the eyes of the Singaporeans and Balinese though.
Ok, so shoot her then!
But first, does she still have the seeds? Shame to waste this hot weather...
a 303 bullet should see her adequately dispatched.

Soon would have folk thinking twice about drug trading in the UK if we dispatched them this way......
Even if it didnt stop them the cost of hiring a mule would go up and therefore the profit or the drug price would go up so pricing many out the market. Eventually if every country shot these scum it would stop, they have no care about the people they are killing by partaking in this trafficking so no symathy when they are caught.
snags - knowing her past, she certainly didn`t have any trouble recognising what they were!
Two things:

1. Has anyone noticed that in the papers she is referred to as 'a mother' (for example, in today's Metro newspaper, the heading is 'Mother faces death penalty'). I don't understand why this is relative.

2. Whilst I have no sympathy for her plight, I have to say...death by firing squad is brutal and inhumane. I am the world's worst fence-sitter when it comes to the death penalty - but some forms are worse than others. Electric chair and firing squad have the tang of cruelty about them.

Leathal injection seems adequate to me.
so ok to stick her with a needle and let the poison seep into her system, death isn't instantaneous from what i have read. However i can't say i have a lot of sympathy, but one thing should be clear, if idiot people in this country didn't take drugs like cocaine, heroin and so on, then there is no market, no drug lords, no reason for foolish people to act as drug mules.
It makes me laugh or not when i read the intelligentsia debate the issue of drugs, legalise or not, they don't seem to get the fact how many lives it breaks into pieces. No just the addict, but the dealer, the gangs, their families and so down the chain.
Did SJ's friend plant the seeds at home?
"...in today's Metro newspaper, the heading is 'Mother faces death penalty'. I don't understand why this is relative."

Mother is always relative, although not always relevant ;-)

So it does not matter how many young people jump out of hotels, jump in front of cars, drown because they have taken drugs then SP? let's put things in the right prospective, she was carrying drugs & she got caught hard sht, that's one less carrier.
yep, and soon!

our children die every day because of the stuff pushed by her (alleged) type!
Today's Mirror suggests that she is some sort of ASBO woman in this country though, and her neighbours aren't surprised.
The Mirror state that in England she was a 'neighbour from Hell'. Shootings too good for her.
The pic in the Mirror shows the huge piles of drugs "hidden in the suitcase lining". It must have been a damned thick lining, no room for any normal contents!
I heard she was a child molester too!

Oh and a radical Moslem cleric on weekends

Any more stereotypes of evil you'd all like to scream for?

bet'y'd like to get all nice and worked up and pull the trigger yourselves wouldn't you?

How about hanging from a rusty nail first - too good for her!

Anybody here read "Lord of the flies?"
It is, of course, still "alleged"...
