Why?
Well I guess the logic is that for those who have with a religious significance to their beards they do not realistically have the option to shave it off.
Stubborn ex-navy types do have that choice - unless the Navy believe that you go to hell for shaving

I cannot see the problem here....the MD's of the company have stipulated this rule and that is their right.
