Really?

Where did you read that?
It sounds very suspicious but I hope they just let things be.

I heard it on the 12.00 news.

There were no links available at the time to link to.
Just watched it. Very upsetting :-(
the poor man, the poor family. They have all been strong imo
I hope he is at peace now.
RIP Tony
Poor man, as you all say peace at last I hope. I also hope not just natural causes, I would hope once he started to go downhill from pneumonia he was in fact helped on the way. It's done for many other patients.
I do not care if it is natural causes or not, the poor man should have been allowed to die in the way and at the time he wanted. I think it was absolutely disgusting that he could not choose. I am glad that he is now at peace. How many among us, I wonder, would want to live like that. My husband wanted to die and if they had sent him home from the hospital I would have helped him along. Instead I had to watch him die slowly. Admittedly the hospital did their best for him and he was kept under sedation, but nevertheless if it is hopeless then in my opinion it its better for it to be quick.
I agree with you Star.
I had to watch my mother slowly die in hospital. There were occasions I was tempted to put a pillow over her face.

RIP Tony.
We don't, on the whole, allow animals (cats/dogs) to suffer, why on earth are humans suffering? Dreadful.
I do hope his family have peace knowing his passing isn't being investigated.
Very sad.
I'm very glad to say that it's just been reported on the TV news that there will be no investigation into his death, and a death certificate has already been issued. Good.
If there were suspicions I think the professionals, police, doctors, etc. would keep quiet about it and so they should.
Indeed, that's my view too, under these tragic circumstances.
You could have least have got the mans name right

RIP Tony Nicklinson
