It's got to be start, but will this type of thing provide the answer?

The report states that scouting etc are mainly 'middle class activities.

As far as I know Scouting groups have been set up for years in all towns, villages and cities areas, and have received no government funding, they have been run on a voluntary basis on voluntary funds.

Okay, not a problem. I wasn't actually calling you a liar, I was simply pointing out that something you said wasn't true. In order for you to be a liar, you would have had to have prior knowledge that what you were saying was not true.

I strongly believe that I have successfully repudiated all your arguments on this matter, and so I am happy to let it lie.

To summarise:

1. Scouts are not obliged to be Christians.

2. Scouts do not all take part n St George's Day parades

3. The article is misleading because the funding is for volunteer youth groups, not just Scouts and Brownies.

simple conformation that you do not need to be christian to be involved in the scouts. Also it shows that they are open to change.

Earlier in this thread, AOG introduced the 'issue' of Christianity. He wrote:
