It did "fall down" quite tidily. None of that messy business where the bit that's "on fire" falls down first.

But you need to see it through their eyes.
3,000 lives?
The number of Americans killed monthly (monthly!) by other Americans on the road is 4,000. That's 48,000 a year. That's 484,000 since 9/11.
484,000 !
Do you think the US government considers 3,500 to be a big number of lives? Compared with being free to remove a foreign power and secure America's interest in the world?
I'd like to be totally wrong.

Here are some things we KNOW to be true ...
The US government values human life above global political power.
Jimmy Saville was a lovely guy and a national treasure.
MP's would never fiddle expenses, because they are the ones who make the rules.
There definitely were some Weapons Of Mass Destruction, because the Prime Minister said so. No, seriously, there MUST have been.

Oh, god. Spoon feeds ...
1. The govt couldn't order a fire drill of the twin towers. They were commercial buildings.
2. Tower 7 housed govt security employees, so the govt could order them out if ... to take a random example ... the building was going to unexpectedly fall down.
Does it not seem odd that, with Tower 7, The govt saved the whole of the security staff (whom it needed going forwards), and lost thE entire per 9/11 security records, so they couldn't be checked?
