Is it because he is famous or because he is under 18?
He's easy enough to find anyway. The case was mentioned back in June.
I'm hoping it's because he's under 18 and therefore a juvenile.
If it's just because he's famous then the law should override that.
Personally, I think all men accused of rape should remain anonymous until they are convicted. It's just too easy to destroy someone's life with an unfounded allegation.

After the BBC events of the last few weeks I would be upset if someone's familiarity to the public was enough to put them above the law.
