My first reply was a quote from H2G2 emphasizing the innate intelligence of dolphins and my reply to JtP was actually defusing any thoughts that it was OK to eat them.

Without wishing to get involved in the should they be there argument...

Several of the comments on several of the sites that are reporting this are saying people are told (and it's clearly displayed on signs) that when feeding the dolphins "do not lift the container of food off the wall" because the dolphins will see it as an invitation to jump up for the container of food.

Watching the video what did the girl do.... she looked away and lifted the container off the wall.
