I am pretty much a feminist and totally for equality, and one thing that gets my goat more than most things is sexism and inequality.
but its a fact that women, in general are not as powerful as men.
it has nothing to do with equality - its just a physical fact.
if the woman can match a man in strength and combat ability then fine, she should be allowed to fight, but fact is many would not be able to - and in a close combat situation she is likely to be up against a man.
in norml life, some women are stronger than some men - but in, say the marines, the men are at the peak of fitness and strength and no woman, no matter how hard she trains will be able to match that.
they should certainly not be lowering anything to account for the women ... it is the women that should be trying to match the standards already there.
she would perhaps be a target too - some arrogant sexist men wanting to 'teach her a lesson'?
