So you didn't know the suspect was black eh?
That's odd, seeing as you posted a link to the Telegraph story at 12:07, and when I look at the timestamp on the Telegraph page, I can see that it was last updated at 10:37am and it clearly describes the suspect as being black.
That noisy screeching sound is you being hoisted by your own petards.
(What are petards anyway???)

sp, what i don't understand about the story you linked to is how the woman who has schizophrenia was out of hospital or prison, she killed her own mother a few years ago, and was allowed to roam about killing this poor woman and almost killing a third. she telephoned the police to say she was a danger and would hurt or kill someone, why did no one take any notice...
A petard, from a seventeenth century manuscript of military designs.
A 19th-century British army petard
A petard was a small bomb used to blow up gates and walls when breaching fortifications. The term has a French origin and dates back to the sixteenth century.[1] A typical configuration was either a conical or rectangular metal object containing 2-3 kg (5 or 6 pounds) of gunpowder, activated with a slow match used as a fuse.
quite mixed...
According to the latest ethnic group estimates published by the Office for National Statistics, the non-white population numbered around 329 thousand, a third of the population of Birmingham.
Pakistani was the largest minority group in Birmingham, followed by Indian and Black Caribbean. Since 2008, other White has replaced Bangladeshis as the 4th largest minority group. The remaining minority groups each accounted for 2% or less individually, but together accounted for a further 12% of the population. You can read more in the Ethnicity in Birmingham briefing. See also detailed EXCEL tables for 2009 ethnic groups below. The EXCEL workbook also includes a population tool, which allows you to select ethnic groups and compare then on a chart.
