the above is the title of a public debate that took place at University College Hospital on 9th March. The event has sparked some controversy which has been reported in the Daily Mail in its inimitable confrontational fashion.
UCL's stance is recorded here:-

Professor Lawrence Krauss says the British people are too afraid to offend a "vocal and aggressive" section of the Muslim community who demand that their cultural values are accepted by wider society
I know what he means, they are some on AB who try to make others afraid to speak out

@AoG are you really trying to play the victim card here, because people quite rightly point out that you present your opinion or even outright fiction as fact?
What a poor oppressed minority you are.
I find it mildly amusing that you cite Lawrence Krauss in your whine... almost as if you are kindred spirits........ :)

Yes Jake, the document you provide makes it quite clear that I am absolutely wrong.
What would be more interesting than a “new Muslim” advice sheet would be to establish how many visits are organised by State schools to Christian establishments when the school contains a reasonable number of Muslims. I imagine it would be very low - far lower than the number of non-Muslim children being dragged off to a Mosque to enable them to “appreciate” Islam.

i didn't say this was specific to the UCL, i did however say that many people are bending over backwards to accommodate the followers of Islam. i had printed the text from UCL from their web page link on why they did not allow the meeting to be segregated, but one wonders why UCL they had to explain themselves anyway. They had already said no to the group about segregating the meeting, why did the leader not take that on board.. some are walking around with blinkers on.
