Does no-one here actually read what I have written, or is one only allowed to post about personal opinion and not explore society's view of things as well? I explained that I UNDERSTOOD why people felt this not that this was my own opinion.
For the third time NewJudge I DO NOT CONDONE THEFT- please read my previous posts.
NJ. You can, in your expertise, be quite condesending.

I’m afraid, sharingan, you’re looking at this from the wrong end of the telescope.

No she isn't, she's giving her opinion.
// He identified a Robin Hood streak in himself, //

Half a Robin Hood streak. He robbed from the rich and kept it. I don't see him as being particularly loveable. I think the only reason he targeted the rich is because they're the ones with the money.
Maybe when he played Lord Bountiful he liked to keep it quiet. Breaking into the hovels of the poor and leaving anonymous gifts for them?
Don't forget, please, that every time a rich person is burgled and claims on his/her insurance it makes the rest of us suffer by putting up the cost of our insurance. It might not sound very much but the cost could be accumulative if there are enough claims.
Iv'e never heard of him.
never heard of him either.

However, he was a thief and is now a dead thief.
Society is well rid of him and his ilk.

What a silly, rude person you are Magsmay. Please don't report this or remove this anyone, let it stand so people can see what she is really like.
magsmay, that is uncalled for and is downright rude.
What happened then ?.
I didn't report it, but was hovering over the button.
Magsmay was incredibly rude about my father NOX since she appears to think she can say and do anything she pleases and clearly hates me because I wont be bullied by her. I really wish they had left that up.
Ah right I see.
Not lovable; no burglar is made lovable by his method of operating; but closer to being lovable than your typical burglar is. Nothing wrong in rating criminals according to their skill
Had never heard of him before, and wish I hadn't. What a complete scumbag and arrogant snob.
Its the truth its not rude just reality -I was making no judgement on him merely stating a fact. -you think this low life burglar is awesome (your own words) because you have been brought up in that environment.
Magsmay- my father has never stolen anything in his life just to clarify for you- and I am more than happy to discuss anything with you, but I will not be drawn into a slanging match. I'm sorry that I seem to offend you so much, but I am entitled to my opinions and you are sadly just making yourself look silly at this point. Once more since you seem incapable of reading my previous responses properly and understanding them I DO NOT CONDONE THEFT or crime generally for that matter. Please go and have a lie down or at least direct your vitriol at someone else, as I don't think we have anything else to say to each other suitable for this board. Peace xx
I don't like burglars ............
I'm not overly fond of cats...........

Villain!
To be fair and accurate mags, 'awesome' does not necessarily mean 'good' or 'bad'

adjective:

inspiring an overwhelming feeling of reverence, admiration, or fear; causing or inducing awe: an awesome sight.

A nuclear missile might be awesome
A ruthless dictator might be awesome
A virulent disease might be awesome
The country's debts are certainly awesome

Being a successful cat burglar is certainly further evidence of human beings' ability to develop all sorts of skills and achieve all sorts of things - many of them will not stand up to moral examination from all points of view
