LOL....yes I think that they have.
It took me quite a long time to get used to Nigel Farage, but I now find myself liking his policies particularly on immigration more and more..........problem is...........so do Tory voters.

It's interesting to note the poll on the Torygraph website: "Never" is currently second place ... when asked how long these appalling people should be allowed to wait before we give them a roof over their heads...

I think you should wait to see what happens before you get all excited.

The Conservatives promised to reduce immigration fro the hundreds of thousands to tens of thousands. In 2010. And remember what happened 2 years later? It was still in the hundreds of thousands.

It is clear that UKiP have the Conservatives worried. But come the election, immigration will not be the main reason for people voting. It will be the economy and how well off people feel.

True, very true and that upturn in the economy is the only hope that the Tories have.

Do not discount the feeling of the electorate on immigration.

I hope the hysteria calms down about immigration it detracts form the real problem of failing conservative austerity measures. Blaming immigrants for everything is lazy and patronising to voters. when populist opinion is wrong it's the job of government to set the record straight not jump on the band wagon in the search for votes.

Do you really think so? well I don't because Labour will not be able to come up with an answer to solve the economic problem, taking into consideration that they had a former Chancellor of the Exchequer as Prime Minister, and look what a mess he made.

The present Tory/Lib Dems are at least having a go and although it doesn't look very good at the moment, I feel that given time we may see a light at the end of the tunnel.

But in our true traditional two party system, it will come to nothing simply because the British public is noted for getting fed up with their present Government and think that by changing over to the opposition, all their troubles will be over, but no they won't because that party will spend their time in office once again, blaming the last Government for all the mess that they have left them in.

Immigration has rarely been an issue at election time.

If it was people would have voted for anti -immigration parties (if they could find one) to "scare" the main parties to do something about it.

Because people HAVE NOT voted for anti immigration parties then the main parties have assumed it is not an issue and done nothing about it.

So now we have cities in the UK where half the people living there are immigrants (or children of immigrants) and we have massive problems of slums and no go areas.

I think it is almost to late to do anything about immigration as the country has already been ruined and we are stuck with them.

I don't blame the immigrants for anything . I would do the same as they do to get a better life. I blame our governments for treating them as honoured guests. They can start receiving freebies within hours of arriving . They are even helped by us in their own countries to come here and what to do on arrival.

@jtp Maybe a Yes vote would stop Scotland's Labour voters from having a say in England's and Wales's parliament. But I don't think it would help Cameron at all - how many people would want to vote for the guy who oversaw the break-up of the UK?

As a 'soft' supporter of th Labour Party, I cheer UKIP. I cheer them to the rafters...because they will split the Tory vote, and let Labour in.
