Why Is Maggie The Hate Victim?
Surely the unions themselves begat the need for someone like MrsT to take action. If not her then it would have been necessary for someone else to sort the problem. So perhaps they should reserve their death partys for the likes of Scargill and Red Robbo, they wrecked the country.

Massive changes from 1979 to 1990, in the balance of power between the workers and Parliament, in denationalising just about everything, in the balance of the economy, in World affairs, in energy policy, in goodness knows what else.
Few politicians of the last 40 years or so can claim to have changed as much. Maybe Attlee's introduction of the modern Welfare state and the NHS, or the changes in "moral law" of the late 60s when abortion, homosexuality and the like were decriminalised. But for sheer weight of change Thatcher seems to win hands down. For better or worse she certainly got a lot done. And getting things done means upsetting a lot of people.
Incidentally, no I don't idolise her.

As much as "SOME MAY THINK OR SAY" with my comments on this vile person, I have not slagged her death but the the way some families suffered, I admire her as a outspoken PM, I admire her for standing up to the knobs in Brussels, as said, this now so-called P.M>>D.C. is not in the same league as M.T. Have you Noticed how much these Ministers are getting paid to attend a so-called meeting at Parliament, a meeting that could have been addressed on Monday, each was paid £3000 + Something comes to mind! would it be for himself? Self Publicity"We are all in it together I recall" Is that where I.D.S. got his figures from when he said WE could live on £7.50 P/D/ £3.000 to attend this unnecessary meeting.
