From Twitter;
"Breaking news: As an act of remembrance for Margaret Thatcher, Big Ben is to be made unemployed."
"Waiting for Mail attack on "vile, left wing" councils who do let their clocks chime on Wednesday"
"This week's news: Ding dong ding dong follows Ding Dong ding dong."
"Even Big Ben is spineless, not playing the Ding Dong because of a campaign. Outrageous."
Mostly from #bigben

The very idea is ludicrous.
I have not always agreed with Mr George Galloway in the past and I will never forgive him for making a complete T**T of himself when he appeared on Big Brother, but, by God, can he make a point ::::

What new lunacy will we wake up to tomorrow ? Perhaps we should turn all the lights out for 2 mins, all over the UK, as a mark of our respect !
Personally, I can hardly wait for Thursday, then perhaps we can stop talking about the dreadful woman.

anotheoldgit. You are far too intelligent to believe that nonsense about the Palace of Westminster. George Galloway was right today...this really is a tidal wave of guff.
She is being given a State funeral, in all but name, at the same time as being canonised. If she was a Catholic, there would be a petition going around trying to make her a saint. Its bloody Diana all over again. At least Diana was loved by pretty much everybody.
