I felt sick when I read of this case.... I thought ten years was too short.

However (not even....but) did they test the device at all ?
If you have a fake x ray machine - you learn pretty quig that it isnt giving x rays.

and finally of course.... did the bomb makers think it worked ?
If they did, it would clearly change their behaviour
like make them bomb a place with no(fake) detectors.

... I still feel sick when I think of this case.

It beats me how it passed the test for even detecting golf balls let alone a bomb. Hope they've stripped him of all his assets.

What I can't understand about this affair is why did so many people and Governments buy huge quantities of these devices if they were fakes ?

Didn't anybody test them first ?
