Hiya tonybabes! At the time, no-one would have known it was from a neighbour, so that's why they picked it up. If it turned out I knew the owner - I would only give it back if he wasn't a Finance Specialist......x

These sorts of threads always make me smile -its just a platform for the holier than thou who want to make sure everyone knows how much more superior and honest they are from all the other plebs - I've handed money in found at a cash machine in a supermarket as I thought -quite correctly-that someone dropped it getting their grocery money -but money found floating in the street that you don't yet know where its come from ? would you really leave it? I'd put money on it no one would -and I bet no-one would give it to charity either . Some people will not even admit they are just like everyone else even in the anonymity of a public Forum - thats what makes me smile ;-)
