Joe......LOL......figure of speech.....LOL.....figure of speech.
Sqad....yeah I know, tongue in cheek.................oops, that sounds like more intimate details of the case!
Joe....with mine......you wouldn't notice........;-)
Squad

Did you seriously not kow the difference between consensual sex nod rape???
sp.....I think that I understood your question.

I really wasn't sure of the two definitions.

JTH "put me right."
I am so pleased that Sqad and Joeluke think that sexual abuse is a matter for smutty schoolboy sniggers.
*again

joeluke, joking about sexual abuse and rape is about as far from funny as you can get.

Alleged sexual abuse actually

Deputy House of Commons Speaker Nigel Evans denies allegations against him . . .

Well, did we expect anything other?
I'm not sure sqad. I have always believed that rape doesn't have to involve penetration to be an offence. Nigel Evans has been arrested on suspicion of rape and sexual assault. Buggery is defined here in Wiki ::

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Buggery
Why do we bother having a legal system in this country? Apparently being arrested or charged in this country equates to guilty. If I was any man in this country, in this day and age, I would be wary about having sex with anyone for fear of retribution or regret. Mud sticks as someone else said...... until he is found guilty by a jury, they should not be allowed report his name. Who's gonna give a vote to a man accused of raping a couple of boys.

The reason people joke about these things is because it makes it a little less of a bitter pill to swallow. You have to be able to laugh at everything, if genuinely find no humour that may be offensive to someone, fatties, gingers, blondes, men then you have grounds to complain. male rape is bound to make men feel uncomfortable so larking about is perfectly normal surely.

/// So for imformation....what is the difference between male rape and
buggery? ///

/// That'll be 'consent', sqad......... ///

I do and I am sure sqad does, but what I don't understand is the fact that buggery has to be consensual, surely rape is rape no matter how it is performed?
It might only be 'alleged' in this case, but your little-boys banter did not specifically address the Nigel Evans case, it was just an excuse to make some blokey nudge-nudge comments on a fairly serious thread.

But, if that's what floats your boat......
Order, Order, Order.

There is good reason for naming the accused in rape and sexual offence allegations.
So other victims come forward, I assume..
Yes, indeed, ummmm
buggery doesn't have to be consensual any more than vaginal intercourse has to be. A knife at the victim's throat, for instance, would assist in achieving both.
I'm astonished that some don't understand that non-consensual penetrative sex can be anything other than rape.
