Unfortunately child/sexual abuse doesn't have a beginning and an end.

I'm just happy that all of these woman and in some cases men now have the voice and means to stand up after years of keeping these feelings and horrible memories hidden away.

Problems that before were kept hidden are now being painfully exposed. Expect many more cases like this to emerge in the next few years -- some of which will perhaps end up as non-cases, but many of which, sadly, are genuine.

I don't see any can of worms unless there is a ring of Tory rapists operating out of Westminster, which I seriously doubt. A crime has been committed, a man has been arrested on suspicion. This happens quite a lot.
