"I have just spoken a mosque in Essex, who told me congregation was attacked by man in apparent "revenge" for Woolwich. More details to come."
I can't really think of a question, sorry. It just seems topical, and if more info comes out about it I figured it might be interesting to discuss.

My own particular take on all this is that today's horror show could well be a catalyst for a spate of tit for tat attacks. Nothing as heinous, but violence none the less.
Recent election results have certainly given the government food for thought and terrorist atrocities aside there appears to be a groundswell from the UK public that says: Enough is enough, we can't let everyone from every oppressed nation within our proximity nor eastern Europeans into this country in such vast numbers any more.
A combination of the two will conspire to further heighten anger, resentment and tension. It's just ripples at the moment, but will become a wave before long and, if unchecked and problems and concerns are not addressed it will become a tsunami within a decade.

Seen this tit-for-tat reprisal charade so much in Northern Ireland in the bad old days. The Woolwich attackers must have known that their actions would put the Muslim community at risk of reprisals, thereby giving extremists (in their eyes) a legitimate reason to exact further revenge against the West. The fact that in the meantime innocent and peace loving genuine Muslim residents of the UK come to harm is indicative of the hatred against humankind in general of these mindless bigots.
