Naomi...the other Muslim, the chap was clearly embarrassed by the man in question, the lady less so but, to be fair, she didn't really have much chance to participate.
There is a current conversation here on AB about tolerance. I support free speech, something that doesn't happen in all Muslim countries around the world. But Anjem Choudary is testing that tolerance to the limit.
I just hope that the relatives of the poor soldier wasn't watching Newsnight last night. I am reminded of the Question Time that occurred directly after 9/11, when there was an ex-USA Ambassador was on the program. He was almost in tears when a group of Muslim people in the audience also refused to abhor the events of 9/11.
If these people like Islamic law and its more unsavoury aspects so much, why don't they go and live in Saudia Arabia ? Could it be that their kind of opposition wouldn't be tolerated ?
There is a photo of the soldier on the front of every newspaper this morning. He looked so smart and handsome in his uniform. He also looked about 15 or 16 years old. He could be anybodies younger brother, or nephew, or son.
A truly disgraceful act, and Anjem Choudary, using the tolerance that Britain provides, has only made it worse.
