LOL...you are absolutely correct dave.......that is all the electorate cares about.
"As long as it remains free at the point of delivery,"

That's the tricky bit though :-) Who believes it would do so if privatised.
And who believes insurance would not go through the roof.
no
Baldric. I suspect our politics are somewhat opposite to each other. But if
"things never have been better under Labour" why did they win three consecutive elections in 1997, 2001 and 2005 ?

And why, if Labour were so unpopular, could Cameron not manage an outright victory in 2010 ? He had an open goal in the shape of Gordon Brown but he still needed the Liberals in order to form a Government.

To read what some people say here on AB, you could be forgiven to come away with the conclusion that the Tories have been in power for the last 100 years !

One last question. If Labour are so awful, why are they a clear 10 points ahead of the Tories in almost every opinion poll in the last 2 years ?

All this doesn't sound like a party that is so awful that nobody is going to vote for them does it ? We may argue about what the main parties may do in the future, and I suspect we will, but the historical record shows that Labour has won handsomely in the past and can do so again.
As the ConLibs do not get in again, I'd vote for labour if they promised to give everyone in the Country a free ice cream.
As long... sorry, laptop or me are playing up again...
A very sensible answer Spoonboy, with which I fully concur...a nice red lolly for me please, one of those with the ice cream in the middle.
A Rocket, Mikey?!
A Zoom, if they still make them ! Or maybe a Jubbly !

Decisions, decisions !
Forgot about the Zoom: I must have been asleep when they came out with the Jubbly, though.

The only reason that Labour has an advantage is because their mass immigration policy is paying off, plus they have the support of the Unions, and they hand out money to those who will not work, as if it's gone out of date, but they never take into consideration how they are going to pay for it.

Yes they are bound to get support from those who they look after, for their own political purposes.
And is not what you say true of all parties, aog, that voters vote for the party that best suits their personal interests?
My questions still stand. Why have they been, and remain so popular ?

"Does Anyone Really Think That Things Will Be Any Better Under Labour?"

only the seriously deluded and theres plenty of them on here by the looks of it.
It may be possible to find cases of parties not just delivering to their own.
"One nation conservatism" is an example and the "Butskillism" of the 1950's.
Unfortunately the backwoodsmen in a political party make these policies hard to deliver.
I too shall not vote labour as Tony Blair's adventures in Iraq alienated many.
no i don't.
If less bad means better then yes, I do.
