Can anyone tell me why, when this couple ran away to France the girl's name was all over the media, but now she 'cannot be named for legal reasons?

Not least, the girl herself -- in the Sun interview described by the Daily Mail link in the OP, the girl said, "I do blame myself for Jeremy being in prison. I instigated the relationship in the first place and it was my suggestion to run away."

I don't know... did a 30-year-old man really let himself be taken away by a girl? Surely not. In which case, she appears to be brainwashed and is in for a horrible rude awakening a few years from now. I hope I am wrong, or I hope that it doesn't ruin her.

Interesting bit on the news earlier that they are checking whether Forrest made contact with the girl before the trial, and somehow affected the way she gave evidence. She said he's the only person who ever took an interest in her in all her life. Sad - but warped.

I just hope she doesn't wait for him. As soon as she's in a non manipulative relationship she'll realise..

Yes it does seem silly that she cannot be named now - especially after a newspaper earlier had seven pictures of her in one article.
