that wouldn't be the EU then would it...
don't we already have the United Nations and any number of other bodies that encompass many of these countries, the EEC was about trade, what is he thinking of..

So, Countries towards Asia gain EU membership,
Would their populations then gain the right to unrestricted travel within
the EU?
Wonder where they would go?
Lol, he's a laugh isn't he, our Dave.
doesn't bear thinking about, it's a definite vote loser.
Although I am not in agreement, the countries mentioned are already in Europe so if they joined it would still be the EU.

He should be deported.
No that's fine as long as they take our place.
problem is that many of these places, including those that have joined the EU recently, were not considered part of Europe, so why have they been included, and why would we want more...
That speech was designed for Kzahkistani ears rather than ours. Isn't Air-miles Andy great friends with their ruling family? They can't be all bad.
What a dick.

Clearly had enough of being in power.

robkep, thing is Labour got the ball rolling, their importation and indeed total open door policy let so many people in, those who did not necessarily have skills that the country needs, that we are now swamped, so who is to blame really.

\\David Cameron triggered a backlash yesterday after suggesting the European Union should open its doors to new members “from the Atlantic to the Urals”.\\

Is that a typo? Urals? surely he means the urinals?
Cameron will be remembered as a bigger idiot than Brown or Blair.
if he carries on like this he will.
I don't think Brown or Blair were idiots - in fact I found Gordon Brown to be a very intelligent man, but a poor leader. Blair just tried too hard to be 'one of us' and made poor decisions.

Cameron, however, I have always thought to be an arrogant idiot, along with his him at No. 11 !! Two of a kind.
I just kick myself that by voting Lib Dem I was partly responsible for him being where he is!! Now I have no party to vote for. I have no regard for any of them :o(
sadly Blair wasn't an idiot, an egomaniac allied to Alistair Campbell's Machiavelli, they made an indisputably ugly duo.
