I've always wondered when I man get's a Knighthood his wife becomes Lady Whoever, but when a woman is awarded a Damehood, how come her husband or significant other doesn't gain a sort of title too? It's one of life's little mysteries I suppose ....

While I don't exactly remember the matches (too young ... choke ) I do know my tennis history I suppose.
While it's very nice for people to say Andy should be knighted and all that, I think that's something that should be awarded at the end of his tennis career and after he's got a few more slams under his belt. I feel the same about some others who have been awarded knighthoods over the past few years - seems like they are being handed out like sweeties these days
