This is fairly normal in state controlled societies. They take toddlers from age of three who show special talent in all subjects and then hot house them up to star status . This happened in Russia ,Rumania ,E.Germany etc.
Their gymnasts and ballet dancers are fantastic. On the negative side the moment they start to decline, they are dumped. When I visited the USSR I saw the Bolshoi and how some of the children were trained, it was a round the clock regime. There was little normal schooling as we know it.
Remember the E Germany athlete scandal that was a product of the system.
