Lefties, lefties, lefties. I am sick and tired of people being tagged as lefties by others who have no idea what they are talking about. What the hell has being liking Andrew Marr got to do with being Lefties! You can like people who have different beliefs than yourself, unless you are a very narrow, biggoted uneducated person. End of rant.
Didn't realise he was back. Great news. I'm just reading his History of the World - which after only a few pages I can see is going to be something special and which in a way makes me see how he must have got ill(!)
I am replying to a post
I am not glad to see him back on the screen. Does not mean I wish him ill I just di like him.
Must I change my opinion of him because he was ill to fit in witg all you lefties?
I dont recall all tge left on this site being so generous with mrs T.
Everyone is entiled to an opinion, it is called a free democracy.

LoftyLottie...the voice of reason ! Thanks for bringing some common sense onto AB.
Does anyone know if Marr is back permanently, or was this a one off ? I noticed that when David M said some nice things about Marr, right at the beginning, he just batted it aside and carried on as if nothing had happened.
I presume he'll be back permanently if he's healthy enough, and this is the first step in seeing whether he is. You can't really "plan" a recovery, it goes how it goes.
according to an article i read a week or so ago, his wife was told he was unlikely to make it, so i am glad he is getting better. His fitness regime which seemed punishing, might well have contributed to his stroke.
