He has never said (as far as I know) what age he is so he could be ninety or forty for all we know. He keeps refering to what like things were in his day or when he was young but he seems reluctant so say what age he is for some unknown reason so how are we meant to know what wonderful period in history he is on about?

Yes can we please drop the age thing, before yet another thread dives into the pandemonium tha last one did, where my personal details, phone number and webpage got posted ( with the best of intentions on the part of the person who posted it) and finally someone pulled the whole thread? This cannot keep happening on here, it's ridiculous. If you have a problem then why not contact me on Facebook Tony, instead of stirring on every thread I post on?

Absolutely it's stirring because you do it on nearly every thread, are not prepared to take my word for it, so are in effect calling me a liar and it derails the subject matter we are talking about because either I, or often someone else addresses the point. That stirs up trouble, not really for me because I don't give a flying foo-faa what you think about me, but for the person who has posted a sensible question. Could you please refrain from doing it please?

I don't really understand what anyone is talking since my last post, but I do agree with Sharingan that age ought to be an irrelevance in a forum like this. It's your argument and how you support it that counts. If age guarantees wisdom, then older posters should have no trouble with that at all.

It's only a few to be fair Mike, most people on here are lovely and in fairness moast of them that persist either get banned or suspended, so I can't complain about the Ed or the mods, but I just wish it wouldn't happen in the first place because it makes it difficult to post on threads where some members are posting because I know if I disagree with them or their viewpoint it's going to be ' oh you're not 15', ' People your age shouldn't argue with their elders and betters', ' You're your Dad', ' leftie, leftie, leftie', 'you aren't normal, go and do what normal kids do' etc etc etc.
Whilst on chatterbank it's often amusing, it's also irritating when I try to join in a 'sensible' thread in a sensible catagory because it just derails everything.
