Could this be the start of even more unrest, due to the failed experimentation of a multi racial country?

This thread is digressing widely from the OP.
And I'm still waiting for AOG to answer my question posed at 13.32 :-)
broccoli. I thought I'd gone on Chatterbonk for a moment.

No wonder AOG has been on gardening leave.
Boxy, //….shari, and most of us agree with you//

We do?

Back to the question.

There are tensions – not doubt about that – but ‘unrest’ exists only within small groups. It is far from nationwide. I’d like to know why you think immigration was an ‘experiment’, AOG.
Naomi, thing is we didn't need mass immigration, certainly not the way it has been in the last number of years, and without wishing to go on about any particular group, if we have young people without work, for whatever reason, why was it necessary to bring more people in. Alistair Campbell has said pretty much what Mandelson said, as well as Ed Milliband, they got it wrong, and it can't really be put right. And for those who go on about lazy British workers, well some might be, but i suspect that most are not.

Em, I agree that ‘mass’ immigration wasn’t the best of ideas, and I agree that the whole thing has been very poorly managed indeed. I certainly think we should have tighter controls on our borders, and be far more selective about the people we do let in legally – but the words ‘door, horse, and bolted’ spring to mind. I still don’t know why AOG thinks immigration was an experiment though.
Naomi - re your above query, just to clarify, the business about "is shari NOX?" has been escalating in recent days - most people who know NOX (from what they say on here) suggest yes, they are two separate people. That's what I was agreeing with - you don't have to agree, if you don't.
Boxy, as I said, back to the question.
Indeed.
thought she is his daughter,
AOG I must admit that I do enjoy reading your threeads. I can see you do not like the changes in Britain and I do not blame you. I went to visit a friend in London where I hardly heard an english accent or the actual language! It made me feel uncomfortable especially knowing how women are treated in other cultures and religion. I didnt like it wht so ever and will not be going back there. Luckily we dont have any immigration where I live apart from the odd few who have integrated wonderfully.
I speak English sometimes, gobbledegook at others... depending on the pain levels.

Thank you for your comment, I suppose I cannot entirely blame others for their acceptance of our present situation, because most of them have never known any differences in their reasonable short lives, but anyone of my age can see the vast changes to our once fairly stable and much less complicated country.

In answer to naomi24 I say this, I did not say that "immigration was an ‘experiment’", only that the dream that one can mix different cultures, religions and nationalities put them all in one big 'melting pot', and finish up with a nation of people who are all prepared to work together for a common cause and an integrated nation was.

Instead what we have now is various separated communities, who have come to this country to improve their life styles (and who can blame them for that) but at the same time only wish to create their own particular country's of origin lifestyle in the UK, while at the same time not showing any particular national support for the country that has willingly adopted therm.

just been announced on midlands today that a charge of murder has now been lodged. the accused is still being questioned about the explosive devices associated with the 3 mosques.
