Brilliantly funny advert for Marmite this week ::

But now there is a big fuss because 278 people have found it offensive apparently :::

Given that millions of people must have seen this advert, does anyone think that a mere 278 complaints is really representative of public opinion ? Are some people so sensitive that they are going to be offended by just about anything ?

I saw the ad when it was first aired and thought it might get complaints. Personally, I think its quite clever. Actually, I've neglected my jar for a couple of weeks so I'm going to go and tend to it in a mo!

Dear oh dear oh dear....
A lovely advert; on a par with those old Hamlet adverts. Very attractive because they appeal to one's sense of humour. Will buy more Marmite at the first opportunity and smile at the thought of all those ninnies who complain about anything intelligent.
When I first saw it I thought how ridiculous it was but it's grown on me for some of the amusing details as another poster said, obscuring the dog's face!
Also the concerned look of the officers! The little boy's look at the end. It's very clever and Marmite sales will soar!
Due to pressure from Marmite lovers on here I actually bought my first jar a few months ago.
It's in the cupboard still unopened so I am now locking all doors............
