Is there a north south divide when it comes to sex offenders? All the recent court cases involve personalities from northern areas. What could be responsible for their dark behaviour?

Yes,
There was Jim Davidson, the well known Stalybridge comedian,
Max Clifford, the Preston publicist and Dave Leeds Travis the hairy cornflake.
Is this a serious question?
I thought being an Aussie, Rolf Harris was pretty far south!
'dark' behaviour?

I'll get my coat. :0)
Wow; thats quite a generalisation.
it seems that anyone in the 'public eye'is fair game, jimmy saville case opened a can of worms, will the truth come out?
We seem to have a scary amount of sex attackers around Manchester though it's a big city with a massive student population so maybe part of the reason, for your "general" sex attacker.

Or do you mean the groups of men grooming young girls like the many recent cases up here?
Maybe a more efficient police force up North (:
Agree with Sir Oracle...............
What an extraordinary post !
Never sure what is meant by a north/south divide. Are we talking about north/south of England or as in Scotland/England. Strange post. Probably many sex offenders all over but we just hear of the "famous" ones. Jo Bloggs next door wouldn't sell newspapers!

Not sure that can be true, many sex offenders reach the papers (thank goodness) no matter what their name or who they live next door to.
I thought there were a whole bunch of offenders in Oxford recently. Not what I'd call north.
