But first he will take a year off to contemplate which charities to lend his backing to.
/// The palace said he currently has a particular interest in the preservation of endangered species. /// Mmmmmmm.
/// William and his young family are reportedly sad to leave Anglesey ///
I wouldn't have thought that the baby would even know that he was in Anglesey, never mind being sad to leave it.

Anybody, young or old, would be only too pleased to leave Anglesey.
I had the misfortune to stay at RAF Valley for a short time many years ago. Whilst I was made very welcome by the Station staff (as I always was when staying on RAF stations) the place itself defies description. If ever a place was ripe for "fracking" because of its desolation, Anglesey beats the North West and the North East hands down.

I too am slightly mystified at this snipe at the royals, normally it's the sort of thing I'd expect from the anti British, right on liberal brigade on this site. However I think even they would have more of a solid go than using the awareness of Prince George as a driver for this. Sorry if I've missed something here AOG.
