It would be very hard to imagine that anyone on the Civil List is entitled to Housing Benefit, thus putting them at risk of the bedroom tax !

Oh the old chestnuts are coming out, must be getting towards Winter! Those in receipt of Housing Benefit receive assistance in relation to their need, ie family size. Why should those in other subsidised accommodation expect more? It isn't a bedroom tax at all, the problem is that as ever with all governments it wasn't compleely thought through.
As far as P. George is concerned, how many of the critics put their children in nurseries or with child minders to enable them to do their job?

They can't win. If they did minimal royal duties to concentrate on child care they would be complained about as freeloaders. So they undertake some duties and therefore have to get child care.

Just like every other working couple.
