By "not getting a nanny" they probably mean they are not going to have a full time nanny (either living with them or living out) in the same way the queen mother did when her children were young

How do you think they are going to look after him and undertake their official engagements? Maybe you suggest they take the baby everywhere with them? I'm not a particular fan of the royal family but this pair can't seem to do right for doing wrong. Shame people haven't got more pressing things to be commenting upon.
So, I wonder how the conversation went?
W: We're both going to be out on Thursday, whos going to look after George?
C: It's my Mum's Pilates class on a Thursday so she can't do it and Pippa isn't ready for one of George's nappies yet!
W: We could always get my old Nanny in to babysit while we are out, we know her and she only lives a couple of miles away. Just make the fridge is well stocked and we've got Alibi on the TV, she'll be happy.
C: Sorted.
Does this type of conversation differ from that any other new parents might have?
