I would agree Naomi - the effects of drink and / or drugs on drivers have endless permutations, the effect of long nails on driving clearly does not.

I would imagine that if this lady had ben stopped by the police and judged unfit to control her vehicle because of her nails, the media would have snapped it up - the lack of any apparent such stories indicates that the lady drives perfectly competently, unhindered by her nails - as she advises in her interview.

I would have thought that as she has decided to grow her nails to this ludicrous degree, her judgement is indeed in question !

maybe she has an adapted vehicle that doesn't involve turning the wheel, or doesnt even have a wheel...?

i cant see that she could take evasive action very well if needed - they are clearly pretty strong if they have lasted so long so what if they got stuck etc?

there is another woman who had similar nails - though hers are totally straight - who lost them all in a car wreck - doesnt say what caused the wreck but they all snapped off.
