/// Mr Kerry, speaking at an economic summit in Bali, vowed that the US would “continue to try to bring people to justice in an appropriate way with hopes that ultimately these kinds of activities against everybody in the world will stop”. ///

Blimey could we now see US Navy Seals heading up the Thames to flush out any of our terrorists?

No the serious part of this is do you think that the US would have had permission from those African governments to launch their attacks?

And could these attacks now make Britain a target for retaliation?

There are no terrorists in the UK. Not any that have made their presence know - yet.

No, I doubt the US had permission to invade Somalia and Libya. But they never had permission to invade Afghanistan, Iraq or Grenada either.

The US attacks will not result in any retatiation against Britain. Neither will they make us any safer.

Not so apparently, we grant them asylum, later we arrest them, and then we let them go.

*** After bin Laden was forced to leave Sudan, al Libi turned up in Britain in 1995 where he was granted political asylum under unclear circumstances and lived in Manchester. ***

*** He was arrested by the Metropolitan Police in 1999, but was released because of lack of evidence and later fled the UK. ***

The Libyan Government were not told.

*** The government said it wanted answers from the US over the "kidnap of a Libyan citizen" on its own soil and demanded to know why it was not told about the raid by American special forces. ***

Eh? So 7/7 was just a figment of our imagination?
Tales abound of UK citizens in foreign training camps etc, doubtless some of whom are now considered trained and have returned to the UK.
Chill doubt - have I missed something ?
Terrorists go around with a placard - perhaps pinned to their bottom - saying

"I am a terrorist" (and thus shall ye know them)
or if they are not very good at ENglish then its: ana jihadi
no please please dont say I am not v good at Arabic

and since we havent seen many of those placards
ergo there are nt any terrorists in the UK

God I wish someone had told me....[I can come out of the sewers]
ChillDoubt's post was a response to Gromit, read it again
Thanks aelmpvw, it's obviously quite dark in the sewers....
It would appear that there are UK terrorists aplenty, posing a significant threat:
