Those little fiends 'moved the goalposts'.

What did they do? Learn to zig-zag and 'hard-target'?
Buy bullet proof vests? Master the art of cover from fire and cover from view?

daffy I used to work with a girl who had a degree in Astrophysics, she wasn't the sharpest knife in the drawer.......
craft1948 put my name down for the Brian May cull please
I am totally against the cull but think badly informed 'celebrities' do more harm than good when fighting for these types of causes.
he didn't say it was a shock, andy. Sounds to me as if he's just adapting to changing circumstances, and I'd sooner politicians (and anyone) did that rather than stick rigidly to something worked out by a computer a year ago.
Will do Clary, can I include Bono and Morrissey?
well, Minister, I bet the squirrels are laughing their nuts off as well
Gosh, I can remember when we got paid for shooting squirrels. That worked well ! Hardly see more than 200 a week.

This badger cull has defects 1) it is incompetently carried out 2) it'll never be perfect 3) the effect on TB in cattle will be nowhere near significant enough 4) they are killing one of favourite animals (aah!) 5) the scientific evidence doesn't seem conclusive (maybe that is just me but my farmer's feeling, justified by past events, is that if the NFU; which I belong to; is suddenly virulently against something , they are wrong!)

Would culling cattle save the Badgers ?
lol I bet that MP woke up today thinking "DId I say that? Oh no, I actually said that didn't I? In public and everything...."
It may, Brionon....but culling the simpletons who enjoy killing a living creature would be a better solution...x
I like Brian May. With his strange barnet now being completely white though, I think it would be good if he dyed black sections in it so it looks like a badger.
I actually think that this is all a self-defence measure by Brian May, cos I think he looks a bit like a badger. If widespread shooting of badgers is adopted, he might struggle to walk anywhere in the countryside without being shot at :)
