Cleggie seems to be acting like the little boy in the crowd, in the story of the Kings New Clothes. Too little and too late perhaps but welcome anyway.

The number of births is increasing, but it isn't really a boom like the post war to mid 1960s boom.

// Clegg will likely join in with Labour, i would be amazed if he sticks it out with the Tories next election, after all they are not exactly a match made in heaven //

Clegg will join no one at the next election. All the Parties will be fighting to win seats on their own. What happens after the result is completely a different matter. If the Conservatives are in the same position next time, there will be another ConDem Coalition. Though I expect that not to happen as the LibDems will lose half the seats they currently have.

It is unlikely that Cleggie will join with anybody after May 2015. First of all, he isn't going to be the Leader of his party for long enough to do any deals.

Secondly, his party is going to end up with so few votes, that any deal with Labour or Tory will have such a low appeal that they may as well not bother.

The Libs have found, to their cost, that supping with the Devil, even with a long spoon, ain't nearly half as much fun as they thought it might be.
so you actually agree that there is a boom, only not as much as after the war years, which is not really surprising is it, you said right from the off as others do what boom, well look around you, or come here and look around, its pretty much a mini baby boom all on our ownsome
how do you know mikey that clegg won't be leading his party then, do you have some sort of crystal ball.
