Your statement that "nicotine is one of the most deadly substances known to man" is simply not true. This sort of statement refers to dosing mice and animals with pure nicotine until 50% die - LD50 test. The results are then extrapolated to man on a dose per kg basis. A single one-off dose of pure liquid nicotine has been claimed to be toxic to humans in the range 30-50mg. However no-one is exposed to this quantity in a single dose and its accuracy has been doubted.
Anyway e-cigs are available with menthol and minimal nicotine, if any - the labelling is unclear.
Sodium Fluoride is highly toxic, in the cyanide/stychnine class. Yet we happily drink it in tap water and use it in toothpaste.
I am not saying e-cigs are safe. There does seem a real possibility that they release ethylene glycol which would be bad for the electric smoker.
There is no !00% safe activty - some people even die while exercising and of course you can choke to death by eating! Please stop eating and exercising for your own sake Tora.
