in a land of democracy and freedom that is modern Britain, to be compared to Nazi Germany is really taking the piss, time to dump the EU, redraw our Human rights acts, it doesn't have to be punitive, and stop this nonsense of letting foreign criminals take the mickey out of our liberal justice system. If we want to do this it had better be soon, as more countries will be joining the EU and i can't see that as being a good thing. Ukraine wants closer ties to Europe and not to Russia, if that is so how will that fare with Russia i wonder the Putin, will that also put us on the spot as well as other EU nations, time we ditched this whole debacle and go it alone, we have ties to other trading nations, we won't sink without trace

There are plenty of very good criticisms of the EU, but making parallels with Nazi Germany is massively hyperbolic and extremely superficial.

As Jake said, if you look hard enough you can find parallels between Nazi Germany and pretty much any organization or country in the world.

I think the point being made is that the EU (Germany) is achieving through stealth what it failed to achieve in two world wars.

It rather makes a mockery of the cost (both monetary and human lives) of the wars (apart from the genocide bit of course).

I think YMB was saying that I had change my avatar because it was a little too close to the truth. I'm not comparing the methods just the aim, total subjugation under a predefined set of "acceptable" parameters with no room for diversity.

You are correct, it is not and I dont think anyone has any objection to that.

However, removing posts or avatars or banning the outspoken is censorship. Over the years I have seen this tendency toward those with a right wing view.

As Zeuhl says, there appears to be a general ban on using Nazi symbols in avatars. YMB's avatar depicts an amalgamation of the EU and the hammer and sickle, it's been there for ages and has not been pulled.

Assuming you mean AB, I've been here just about as long as you have (minus a few months). The only posts I've actually seen get removed have usually been ones that are outright aggressive or inflammatory. I've no idea whether they are more right wing or not - I can't see any evidence that there's a politically-motivated pattern to answers being withdrawn.

yes... the EUSSR is attempting and in the processing of doing what hitler attempted and failed to do....to take over the UK and impose their governance and laws and on the UK.

The EUSSR wants a huge empire without boundaries and national sovereignty, which is an anathema to them.

Their sole objective is the subjugation of as many european countries as possible, and as can already be seen they dont care which countries , they arent fussy, and has been seen many times, if they dont get what they want they force countries to keep voting with threats and of the repercussions if they dont get the results they want

Their favourite word is harmonising...which is just a euphimism for taking over

The UK will become no more than a North Western province whos purpose is to serve the eu masters and do their bidding ..pretty much like when the Romans invaded

Its Empire buiding pure and simple, always has been always will be...how much more obvious could it be ?
