The 3 men attacked members of the public for holding hands, being immodestly dressed and drinking alcohol. They said the wanted Sharia Law and were patroling Bethnal Green.

How can this possibly not be religiously aggravated? They attacked people for not following a religious law. Why were they let of this more serious offence?

He does it to make it stand out who he is addressing. He does it to other posters, not just you. There is an example earlier in this thread where a poster thought my comment was to your post when it was meant for hc. It is to avoid such instances that tcl capitalised addressed replies.

they were left off the more serious charge because of the stupidity of our ways, law, bending over backwards has got us into this mess. This is not the same case as those men who walked around the East end who videoed themselves was it, denouncing a gay man calling him a f a g, and telling some poor girl she was a w h o r e, or words to that effect, telling them this is a Muslim area, crikey what a bunch cretins.
If they have gone to jail that is good, however why couldn't the third man be identified.

They are trying (with some success) in making Bethnal Green/Tower Hamlets a no go area to non-muslims. I was born in this area and have gone back several times visiting friends, never again. Thank you George Galloway and the muslim run council of Tower Hamlets.

Anjem Choudary was born in Welling. Where would you deport him to? I don't know of any Islamic caliphates in that part of London.
