I was being facetious really and have nothing against Princess Camilla. Still, it was a rare opportunity to make such a joke so I thought I'd take it.
I don't see a problem with Grayson Perry, or anyone else, wearing what he likes, within reason, so long as it's appropriate for the occasion. That was quite an appropriate dress for the occasion. Far more formal than some of the stuff he usually wears (and it's his specific choice of clothes rather than the general idea of his dressing in women's clothing that bothers me). It's nice to see such barriers being broken down; transvestites carry a social stigma that is really rather unfair -- and to see someone be treated with respect by one of the highest people of the Land surely will help to remove that stigma. So well done Grayson Perry for not turning up in a suit but sticking to his personality.
