There were previous years of hilarity for deaf folk who had nothing better to do . They now seem to have a clerk lurking who now corrects it at the end of the paragraph.
I liked the comment of one oldster - year of the whores - should be an interesting one....
to be fair to the Beeb - these are linguistic doublets - words only differing by a sounded/unsounded consonant - bip and pip - teeth and teethe, glacier/glazier
Either one word drops out or there is a vowel (bowel) change - as in glas - sier and glayzier.
whores are gonna hang in there I think - which means that horse will change its pronounciation....
