I saw a similar news article earlier and was quite simply stunned that this had got to court.

there seems to be more to the case than they are saying, still it doesn't seem as though the parents want to go along with it.

fyi a young boy went to court so he could be legally adopted, as his parents were unfit, the father a violent drunk, the mother hardly coped. He won and was adopted by a lovely couple -
