This was a post by Barnes on YouTube in which he promised a secondhand Vauxhall Astra to any one repeating the Rigby murder. Would anyone actually be incited to actually do that for a secondhand Vauxhall Astra?

Back at the time of the Falklands War, someone (was it Private Eye?) jeered at tabloid jingoism with the line "Kill an Argie, Win a Metro!" (a Metro being a car of the day). Rather unpleasant to think they could go to jail for doing it now.

Richard Ingrams would have contested such a charge. These numpties admitted it because they crave publicity. Which the state has now given them.

And sad people can then fantasise about killing them in barbaric ways because they are, er, barbaric.

Did the offenders admit the allegations during the police investigations, or deny them and later changed their plea's in court on advice ?

It was pretty clear cut that they had submitted the videos to YouTube. I assume they didn't deny that at interviews with the police because it was under their YouTube user names.

The Police then hand the evidence to the CPS who decide if their is sufficient evidence to charge them and what with.

It is only when they go to court that they enter their pleas. The pair admitted the charges.

I was thinking more about their admissions or denials regarding the technicalities of the terrorism offences i.e. their motives and intent etc that led to such serious charges and later their convictions, not so much the fact that they may have admitted it was their mugs in the YT vids.
