Stories of giant rats have been around for so many years. As an ex pest controller I was frequently called to houses and properties of these giant rats the size of cats etc. The only rats I ever saw was the same size of any other rat, some may have been an inch or so bigger and the holes these giant rats went down were always about 2 inches in diameter.

Ratter, serious question. We live in the country and, naturally there are rats in the fields, but they never look to me like the sewer rats I've seen in the dockland areas of London - I remember them being huge! Is there a difference - or is it just my imagination?
